Integrations Configuration Specialist

Job Summary
The Integrations Configuration Specialist is responsible for managing client facing configuration across our casino and live casino platform. The role supports new client onboarding, portfolio expansion, game and table releases, and ongoing production configuration.
The specialist will become the subject matter expert for Backoffice configuration and will be accountable for ensuring that configuration changes are completed accurately, efficiently and safely. They will also play an important role in continuously improving how configuration work is performed by identifying inefficiencies, unnecessary manual steps and operational risks.
The role works closely with Integration Managers, Commercial teams, Product Owners and Business Analysts to ensure configuration requirements are understood and delivered effectively, while helping shape improvements to the Backoffice that make configuration simpler, faster and more secure.
The Configuration Specialist does not own client relationships, client roadmaps or integration delivery. All work is provided through Integration Managers and Commercial Managers, with overall prioritisation governed by the Integrations and Delivery Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Portfolio Configuration
• The Configuration Specialist will manage operator and brand configurations, including game enablement and disablement, lobby and category configuration, and client specific game limits and settings.
• They will support Integration Managers with client onboarding, portfolio management and production configuration activities, as well as helping coordinate configuration requirements for major game and table releases across multiple operators.
Production Configuration & Quality
• They will be responsible for ensuring that production configuration changes are completed accurately and in line with defined processes, validation requirements and four eye controls.
• The role will involve troubleshooting configuration issues and identifying when additional clarification or escalation is required before a change is made.
Configuration Processes & Ways of Working
• The configuration specialist will become highly knowledgeable in casino and live casino Backoffice systems and will own the ways of working around configuration activities. They will continuously look for opportunities to make these processes more efficient, consistent and scalable.
• A key part of the role will be identifying unnecessary manual steps, inefficient workflows and potential configuration risks.
Backoffice Improvement
• The specialist will be encouraged to challenge processes that create unnecessary complexity and proactively raise improvement requirements with Product Owners and Business Analysts.
• The specialist will provide practical input into the design and improvement of Backoffice functionality, ensuring that new capabilities are built with the needs of configuration teams in mind and include appropriate safeguards to reduce the risk of client facing errors.
Cross Functional Collaboration
• They will work closely with Integration Managers, Commercial teams, Product Owners and Business Analysts to ensure configuration requirements are clearly understood and delivered effectively. Prioritisation and delivery of changes requiring Product, Engineering or wider organizational support remain with the relevant functional owners.
• The specialist will also keep Integration leadership informed of recurring configuration challenges, operational risks and opportunities to improve the Backoffice experience.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential
• Experience, 1-2 years within iGaming, preferably within casino or live casino.
• Strong technical aptitude and a good understanding of casino and live casino platforms (Backoffice).
• Excellent knowledge of and confidence working with Backoffice and configuration systems.
• A strong understanding of how Backoffice configuration impacts client facing game and platform functionality.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly when making changes within production environments.
• The ability to troubleshoot configuration issues and recognize when a change requires clarification or escalation.
• A good understanding of different platform environments, including development, testing, UAT and production.
• Experience working with Jira or similar task management tools.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple configuration requests accurately.
• The ability to understand requirements and clearly communicate configuration needs, risks and improvement opportunities.
• A proactive approach to identifying inefficient processes and proposing practical improvements.
Desirable
• Experience supporting casino or live casino operator onboarding and portfolio management.
• Basic knowledge of scripting (Jenkins etc.) or automation.
• Experience working with processes or tools designed to reduce repetitive manual tasks.
