We are looking for a Mid-Senior Business Analyst to support a complex Agile transformation and multi-team delivery program. This role will focus on gathering requirements, consolidating fragmented information, mapping dependencies, documenting processes, and preparing the analysis outputs needed for effective Scrum, Kanban, and Joint Planning / PI Planning activities.

The role is suited to someone who is comfortable working in ambiguity and can turn scattered information from workshops, Jira, Confluence, architecture diagrams, stakeholder conversations, and delivery meetings into clear, structured, actionable outputs.

The Business Analyst will work closely with the Lead Business Analyst, Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Technical Project Managers, Architects, Scrum Masters, QA, DevOps, Operations, Integrations, Data, and Compliance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

• Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements from Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Integration, Infrastructure, Data, and Support stakeholders.

• Translate stakeholder input into clear feature descriptions, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation.

• Help break down larger initiatives into smaller, delivery-ready pieces of work.

• Support Product Owners in maintaining structured, prioritised, and understandable backlogs.

• Ensure requirements are clear, testable, and aligned to business outcomes.

Information Synthesis

• Consolidate information from multiple sources, including Jira, Confluence, architecture documents, meeting notes, workshops, Slack or Teams discussions, technical designs, and stakeholder interviews.

• Turn fragmented inputs into structured deliverables such as feature briefs, dependency matrices, process maps, readiness checklists, open-question logs, and decision records.

• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, assumptions, and unresolved questions.

• Maintain clear documentation that can be used by delivery teams, stakeholders, and governance forums.

• Keep analysis artefacts current as scope, decisions, and dependencies evolve.

Dependency Analysis & Tracking

• Identify and document dependencies between teams, systems, processes, environments, integrations, data flows, and operational activities.

• Maintain dependency logs, blocker lists, assumption trackers, and open-item registers.

• Support dependency forums, Scrum of Scrums, Joint Planning, and delivery governance meetings with accurate analysis inputs.

• Ensure dependencies are visible in Jira, Confluence, planning boards, and relevant delivery artefacts.

• Highlight risks or blockers early and escalate them through the Lead BA or delivery leadership.

Joint Planning / PI Planning Support

• Support preparation for Joint Planning / PI Planning events by preparing feature descriptions, acceptance criteria, dependency inputs, risks, assumptions, team-level scope, and readiness materials.

• Assist in maintaining program boards, planning outputs, ROAM risk logs, confidence-vote inputs, and action trackers.

• Help ensure that teams have enough clarity to plan effectively and make realistic commitments.

• Support follow-up actions after planning events, including backlog updates, dependency tracking, decision documentation, and scope clarification.

Process Mapping & Agile Artefacts

• Create and maintain process flows, system interaction diagrams, data flow diagrams, RACI matrices, decision trees, and operational handover documentation.

• Support the use of Definition of Ready and Definition of Done by ensuring backlog items contain the necessary information before entering delivery.

• Help document current-state and future-state processes where required.

• Support Agile governance by maintaining lightweight but reliable documentation.

• Ensure documentation supports delivery rather than creating unnecessary administrative overhead.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate working sessions with engineers, QA, DevOps, Product Owners, Architects, Operations, Compliance, Support, and other stakeholders.

• Follow up on open questions, missing inputs, decisions, and dependency confirmations.

• Build effective working relationships across multiple teams and time zones.

• Communicate clearly and proactively, especially where ambiguity or blockers exist.

• Help ensure that information flows between teams and does not remain isolated in separate conversations or documents.

Traceability & Backlog Quality

• Ensure requirements are traceable from business objectives to features, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.

• Support backlog hygiene by helping teams identify incomplete, unclear, duplicate, or blocked items.

• Maintain alignment between documentation and Jira.

• Support reporting by ensuring initiative status, risks, blockers, and dependencies are based on accurate and current information.

Required Experience

• 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software, product, technology, or digital delivery environments.

• Experience working with Agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery models.

• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and requirements documentation.

• Experience working with Jira and Confluence.

• Experience coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders.

• Experience supporting planning, refinement, delivery, or release activities.

• Ability to work with technical teams and understand APIs, integrations, data flows, environments, and system dependencies at a practical level.

• Strong written and verbal English.

Nice to Have

• Experience in iGaming, live casino, gaming platforms, fintech, payments, SaaS, or B2B technology environments.

• Exposure to Joint Planning, PI Planning, Big Room Planning, SAFe, or scaled Agile delivery.

• Experience supporting complex technology programs, platform changes, integrations, migrations, or operational change.

• Basic understanding of regulatory, compliance, reporting, or financial control environments.

• Experience with Miro, Lucidchart, Draw.io, or similar diagramming tools.

• Exposure to data migration, system integration, platform modernisation, or legacy technology replacement.

• Agile BA, Scrum, Product Owner, or SAFe-related certification.
