Data Analyst
Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our team in the UK. In this role, you will work closely with Product, Commercial, and Operations teams to analyse business and product performance, build dashboards and reports, and deliver data-driven insights that support decision-making. You will help translate business questions into analytical frameworks, turn data into clear and actionable insights, and communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with business and product stakeholders to understand analytical needs and translate them into structured data questions
Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track product performance, business outcomes, and key KPIs
Conduct deep-dive analysis on business performance, product usage, and customer-related metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
Support data-driven decision-making by providing clear insights, summaries, and recommendations
Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and correct metric definitions
Deliver ad-hoc analysis and insights to support ongoing business and commercial initiatives
Qualifications & Skills:
2+ years of experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role
Proficient in SQL, Python (especially for data analysis), and Tableau (or other BI tools)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Experience working closely with Product, Commercial, or Operations teams
Ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders with diverse backgrounds
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with analytical methods such as funnel analysis, cohort analysis, or trend analysis.
Solid foundation in statistics and data interpretation.
Experience working on mobile app or web product analytics.
Familiarity with modern data platforms or big data frameworks (e.g. Spark, Hive, Presto, or similar) is a plus.
Mandarin proficiency is preferred
