Learning and Development Business Partner
Role Summary:
Eeze is seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning & Development Business Partner to support the L&D Manager to drive the implementation of the learning and development strategy at a regional level. The role involves collaborating closely with managers to implement compelling development resources. The primary aim is to ensure that the workforce possesses the necessary skills and capabilities to meet the evolving needs of the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a comprehensive comprehension of various business sectors, strategies, objectives, challenges, and areas where skills may be lacking. Working closely with the regional HR business partners you will then devise learning solutions that are aligned with commercial goals to cater to these identified needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with Managers and Leads: Work closely with managers and leads to identify training needs and elevate skill sets within the workforce. Use management information to identify capability gaps, learning and training needs, and link learning interventions to business objectives to demonstrate their value.
- Administration and support of our learning management system: This platform will focus on streamlining onboarding procedures, induction processes, and continuous developmental initiatives aimed at augmenting staff retention.
- Learning Strategy and Roadmap: Contribute to research, analysis, and ideas to formulate and execute a strategic roadmap that aligns training capabilities with the overall learning strategy across different departments.
- Leadership in Learning Initiatives: At a regional level, champion, lead and implement learning and organisational development initiatives within the strategic roadmap, ensuring their maintenance and alignment with organisational objectives.
- Policy Development and Compliance: Work collaboratively with HR and the Information Security Specialist to craft and enforce policies ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory standards such as GDPR and cybersecurity protocols including maintaining a 95% compliance rate across all mandatory training.
- Supporting Development Plans: Assist in designing and delivering appropriate Personal Development Plans, ensuring completion of mandatory training by colleagues.
- Design and Delivery of Learning Materials: Design and deliver in-house briefings, workshops, and course materials as required.
- Coaching and Mentoring Development: Develop coaching and mentoring programmes to support colleague development and the achievement of personal development plans.
- Advocacy for Diverse Learning Methods: Promote diverse learning methods, including practical eLearning modules and interactive face-to-face training sessions. Advocate for modern, inclusive learning methods and support cultural alignment across markets.
- Evaluation and Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate feedback and effectiveness of training using a Learning Management System and business performance data to demonstrate ROI.
- Provision of Mentorship: Offer mentorship as needed to support and guide employees through their professional development journeys.
- Budgeting: Construct and manage an L&D budget/project/intervention, including managing resources while identifying potential cost savings to effectively deliver and ensure maximum value.
- Third-party vendors: Effectively engage, negotiate and manage third-party suppliers as required.
Required Skills:
- Good facilitation skills across live and virtual formats.
- Strong administration skills.
- Proficiency with content creation software packages.
- Problem solving.
- Coaching and mentoring.
- 4–6 years in Learning & Development, ideally within a fast-paced, regulated industry (e.g. tech, gaming, fintech).
- Experience in delivering blended learning programs across multiple regions.
- Excellent facilitation skills (in-person and virtual).
- Strong LMS administration and digital content creation skills.
- Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and drive business-relevant learning.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in developing digital learning content.
- Experience in operating within a multi-cultural team focusing on inclusivity.
- Experience in the gaming or tech industry.
- Understanding of iGaming regulations and compliance requirements.
